Children and Adult Handbell Concert

The children's handbell choir performed a concert May 16, 2009. Those in attendance were truly blessed by the sights and sounds of these precious children making such beautiful music.  Under the direction of Lisa Mayhugh, the children learned basic music reading skills...how to count a beat, identifying measures in sheet music, parts of the bell, etc.  In addition, every week they worked they earned a foot to be added to a giant banana split!  As you can see, they must have worked VERY hard as the banana split was VERY long!
