LOCAL FAMILY ASSISTANCE

Local Family Assistance is a fund administered by the Missions Committee to help people, usually on a one time basis, get prescriptions or pay for rent, utilities, or other emergency requirements, such as a heater in the dead of winter or an air conditioner needed for a chronically-ill person.

Referrals are screened by the social work staff at the Department of State Health Services. For more information, contact Peggy Wooten, 328-8240
