Carrying the Cross of Christ into the Future

SAAFE HOUSE

The SAAFE House mission is to create a sexual assault and abuse free environment. The office is located at 602 East Church, Suite 204. A local house provides a safe place for women and their children, who no longer have to go out of town to be safe. Faith-Promise money helps to support this organization, and FUMC members provide in-kind donations throughout the year. In addition, many of the volunteers and staff members are from our FUMC congregation.

For more information or to become a volunteer, contact: Tamera Glover, 936-327-2513, besafe@saafehouse.org, or go to the website: www.saafehouse.org.
