Merritte Memorial Methodist Church hosted the August ETEC Gathering.   What a wonderful evening of worship, food and fellowship!  Lisa Hannah was our 4th day speaker and gave an inspirational uplifting talk reminding us all of the strength we have in Christ. 

 

Additional discussion highlighted the importance of Reunion groups.  This is a necessary step to keep the fire burning, share concerns and problems, ask for and receive prayer, and be held accountable to your brothers and sisters in Christ.    If you are not yet involved in a reunion group, please prayerfully consider making that commitment.  FUMC has eight groups from which to choose.  Come visit, share, and join the group that fits your schedule and life style. 

 

Join us at THE HOOT on Saturday, September 4th at FUMC Diboll from 5pm - 8pm.  A HOOT is a gathering of area Christians and youth  that is sponsored by Chrysalis.  There will be food, fellowship, and fun for all ages.  Clairmont, a Christian rock band, will perform.  All are invited.  No charge but 4th Day is asked to bring drinks and desserts.  See you there!

 

The next ETEC Gathering is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th in Jasper FUMC.  Sponsorship training will be held at 4pm followed by dinner and festivities beginning at 5pm.  Bring your favorite dish to add the table and enjoy a great evening with Christian friends.
